Default Removing a Core2 Processor/Heat Sink

How do you remove a Core2 heat sink? It has these 2 clips, kiddy corner from each other on the heat sink, which are hooked underneath these irremovable loops built into the motherboard. How is someone supposed to be able to remove this?

I just use a small flathead with a long shaft, and turn the pin left. The head of the S775 clips have a slit for flatheads to fit in. Then reach in and pull them up with your fingers. Loosen opposite pins, same as with re-applying them.
