Question remove a hotsearchbar.com toolbar

I have what is called a hotsearchbar.com toolbar on my browser and can not remove it for anything, I have tried various spyware software and to no avail, HELP................

Hijack this try that to stop it loading with IE, then safe mode scan you pc.

what spyware detectors have you tried?
have you tried the most recent versions of them?
The best ones to try are Spybot search and destroy and adaware.
Also you could look for a program called HijackThis and manually remove the toolbar and associated Files and references yourself.

yes i had this problem, somebody has kindly made a program that removes all these types of search bars - it is called CWShredder, just use google to get it, if not post ur email address and ill send it to you.

In your Iexplorer window as this might not be as you didn't say if it was another browser.
Go to View/Toolbars and uncheck it.

that is good, but it will only hide the toolbar. Don't forget it is still there, and installed on your system.

erm that CWShredder will work believe me....

it removes loads of these types of search bar plus all the regisrty files so there is no coming back for this sucker lol

Yeah; its best however to try and not go on the sort of sites that may install this sort of toolbar...

But Hijack this and Adaware should do the job. Tell us what you did please.

Thumbs down Hotbar=Hotmail ?

Do you use Hotmail ? Is it part of there sneeky add ons ?
I highly recommend leaving Mr BG's HOT mail and useing Yahoo.
