Refresh rates..

I just got a new 19" crt monitor, it's pretty nice.
it can do 1600x1200 @ 75
I want to play games at a refresh rate of 75, 60 hurts my eyes.
but even though I set my desktop to 75, games always run at 60, even if I use the refresh rate over ride on the nvidia settings..
anybody know what I could do about this?...
(geforcefx 5500 for those who would want to know)

in the actual game there should be video settings.

check in there

Yes in some games there is a setting in the actuall options (WOW,BF2,UREAL2K4) You just need to look around for it. Some Games May Not Have It. My advice go get your self a nice flat screen =P

Yeah, crt's are so big and bulky... even though they are fit for games, or so they are said they are. Lcd's are slim, and some have some nice refresh rates, along with better ratios too.

I don't want an lcd, I've had one before, they aren't too bad, but I like this crt more (and I have a huge desktop, so blah!)
I like my new crt.
I know that some games provide options, which is NICE.
but not all do, thats why i need a program that will force it to the refresh rate I want.
the nvidia over ride settings don't do anything.
