Default Redirecting Music Folder - Possible???

Hi

You know when you go to start, then click on my music, it takes you to the music folder on your pc's hard drive?

What i want to do is to click on my music, but i want it to take me to a different drive where I keep my music.

ive looked under the properties of thwe folder, but I cant seem to find a way of changing the path so it takes me to my music folder on my other hard drive.

anyone know a way to do this??

Thanks

You can redirect the locations of the following folders using TweakUI: My Pictures, My Music, Send To, ... etc.
Open Tweak UI, click My Computer and Special Folders. Change the Location by selecting the appropriate entry in the list box.

You don't need a special program to redirect the files. I'm guessing you want to put your music on a 2nd HD? All you need to do is right click on your My Documents folder and change the path to the specified drive.

Mattie ...

He's asking to redirect his MY MUSIC folder ... not his My Documents folder. My Music folder doesn't appear to allow you to change the path directly (for some odd reason) as et0609 had already stated in his original post.

PowerToys TweakUI isn't anything special ... just a free little utility from Microsoft. If a utility can centralize tweaks that you want for your OS ... why not make it easy on yourself and use it?

By the way et0609 ... you're welcome!
