is it possible to get rid of the recycle bin on my desktop and move it to my object dock?

You could make a shortcut to it on your desktop, then put the shortcut on your objectdock. Then you can right click on the desktop and go to "arrange icons by" then go down to where it says "show desktop icons" and click on that, removing the checkmark beside it and your icons will be hidden. This will remove all your desktop icons though.

I did that with my recycle bin, I put a shortcut to it on my quick launch and removed the icon.

google "delete recycle bin". theres a patch that edits the registry and it goes away. it can be restored.

Whoa. My computer is weird. I can move it off and it doesn't stay there lol. I've never saw that before.
