Default Recording Your Desktop In Windows

Hey guys i am just wondering if there are any tools out there that let u record your desktop "eg record you clicking on start then control pannel" or something like that, i know there is recording software for games (like fraps) but any info would be useful

i have seen those, like for tutorials and stuff right, any way the the only thing i can think of doing is screenshots on every step then numbering them to show them in order, otherwise keep looking because i know programs like that exist,,

wait heres one, i just did a search on "recording desktop" and this came up http://www.deskshare.com/msr-help/index.aspx

i saw a couple more there too take a look.. let me know if these helped because i am kind of interested too now..

yeah hehe tell you the truth i got the idea from that windows xp tutorial (the one when you first install windows xp) it had the recording of how to go into my computer ect. ill try theese programs and post back on here as soon as i can, thanks again!

no problem, i first saw these type of recordings a couple of years ago with some photoshop tutorials i found, hope they work..

microsoft media encoder...that can record ur desktop. can even broadcast movies or music so u can have ur own radio station

i can do that, only because i have a Nvidia PersonnalCinema Fx5200, you can record your pc and stuff, ill show you guys when i get my webspace of camers

MS camcorder comes on the office 97 disc i have got it why did i not thinmk of that? Duuuuuuuur
