Default Recommended Video Card?

What video card would you guys recommend to upgrade to, say, now?

If I was to decide what to get, what would be the best option.

I've seen 9600GTs for 120, great price. 8800s are at around 200+

9800s are the very top atm, pricing the most.

But what's most recommend?

Ta.

What are your computer specs including power supply, CPU, memory, etc.

What kind of games and apps are you planning on using?

The 8800GT is a great choice performance wise. But for the price, the 9600GT provides nearly the same performance.

I wouldn't say the 9600GT provides nearly the same performance, 64 stream processors does hold it back a bit.
Here is an 8800GT for you, only 115: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=698278

You might also want to wait for the HD 4850 if you're not buying straight away. It should be around 125 and RV770 is looking awesome. End of may is the expected release date.
