Recommendations please !

Peoples I need some recommendations ! Im paking CCleaner and AVG Internet Security !

I need some more GREAT !!!!!1 tools like those that can keep this old machine from 2004 running as good as it is now !

Are there any programs you would recommend that clean things out ! Also are there any that get rid of HDD drive history.

The ones that kill all of those files that your HDD watches you look at while on the internet ? Its ok go ahead and be as condescendent as you would like to be !

CCleaner will clean all the temporary internet files for you.

Basically, it's just good to do a full reformat with a clean install of XP once in a while. Make sure you back everything important up though.

The other thing is to defrag your hard drive regularly. You can do this by going to:
- Start
- All Programs
- Accessories
- System Tools
- Disk Defragmenter

I think you need a program that clears your shadow memory but I can not recommend one as I have never used one a simple reformat is enough for me, If you need to go to that extreme you must have some pretty hot xxxx on your computer.
