Default Recomended Video card?

I am looking for help to find a good and affordable AGP video card that will work with the following specs:
Mb manufacturer name: ASUS A7V8X-LA

HP/Compaq name: Kelut-GL6E

Socket A

AMD Athlon XP

Core frequency up to Athlon XP 3200+

VIA KM400A

VIA VT8237

400 / 333 / 266 MHz

2 x 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets

Support up to maximum 2 GB memory (PC manufacturer's maximum memory may differ)

Supports unbuffered PC2700/2100 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory

Three PCI slots

One AGP 8x/4x (1.5V)

Another Question: Would this card work with my specs?

At the moment i'm more into ATI cards; this would be pretty good:

^^ That has GDDR2 memory which will be considerably slower than a GDDR3 2600XT card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161208

Or if you want the fastest AGP card there is, this is what you want: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102730 It is around 1.6x faster than a 2600XT AGP.

$164.99 for an agp video card? you'd be better off buying a new mobo and getting pci 16x

The HD 3850 isn't limited by the AGP bus, and it's a very fast card (8800 GTS G80 equivalent). It would be considerably faster than the 2600XT AGP. It's only a suggestion.
