Default Really wierd CS:S problem...

Ok, so when I start up CS:S it is normal. However, as soon as I click on a menu item, this happens:

I have updated all of my drivers, and even tried older ones. Nothing helps.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

sometimes when i load dust_2 it gives me some weird artifacts like that. like when i go into tunnel the ground is purple, and just now the car by bomb site B was reflective. dont know what causes this.

might be our GPU's? we both have 8800GTS's dont we?

Those defects very common. Usually just alt-tabbing out then going back into CS:S will fix the purple (I don't know about the car, but I see it a lot).
