ok i think this is the right place to post this problem sorry for the double post.
comp.
compaq 1923wm
media center edition
version 2002
service pack 3
amd athlon 64 processor
3500+
991 MHz,488MB of ram
first i have multiple external hard drives
i swap them around continiously all of them pretty full
various sizes from 8 gb to 1000 gb
while one was re-installing the power cord got disconnected durning the install process!
first i could not get any letter assigned, after researching on your forum and unistalling it disconnecting all cables switching usb ports re-installed
showed up in disk manage but still no letter trying all again showed up temp. but with a red circle and a question mark
closed windows explorer
and re-opened it no drive
so i tryed all again this time with disc manager open and shows up every where
now my problem is ZERO bytes used
ZERO bytes free
is there any way to save my 160 gb of saved data??
