Heh, yeah sometimes I enjoy going to Voodoo's website to see what I can configure and how much I can get the cumulative price up to.

Ever look at the brand of the power supply?? What's it's efficiency rating?
And your water cooling setup, I bet that has just the BEST parts in it
Your hard drive is 7,200 RPM with only 8MB cache. Laughable next to a Raptor.
Your integrated sound card??
Patriot RAM?

That's why I'd never get an Alienware.
Don't hate man

Alright guys, lets lay off of the crotch kicking. He asked for constructive criticism of his rig, not ball bashing.

I have my opinions on his setup too, but since he's new here, I'll cut him a break.

Well, he was insisting it was top of the line...

Anyway, constructive criticism?? Get a good sound card, and put a Raptor in there. That'd make it a bit better.

IMO this is turning into a flame fest. CRYSJON can do what he wants, enjoy your new pc and keep copies of your warranty statement.

Yeah, a good sound card would be nice. I would recommend the Auzentech Prelude X-Fi 7.1 sound card. Why no Creative?

Creative is finally licensing their EAX and X-Fi technology to third-parties (about damn time) and Auzentech is one of the first to use the X-Fi chipset.

Solid state capacitors prevent any interference and the drivers aren't full of shit like Creative's. God, how I hate Creative's drivers...they take forever to come out and they suck.

As for a hard drive, you don't need a Raptor. I suppose you could get a 37GB or 78GB one as a boot drive for the OS and games, but you don't need it for storage or any of that since most of the current hard drives can handle it.
