I don't have a problem with intel, but IMO there is better for cheaper unless you are going i7, in which case it boils down to uses for it. Anything above the 920 really has no competition though.

Gosh I wish AMD would just finish their 16-core...

Just go with the i7 build. It destroys the C2Q you picked out.

Well unless of course you don't want to do a Clean install once the RC runs out.

I would go with Vista now since they are coming with a free upgrade coupon to windows 7 when it is released. That way you are paying current Vista prices for Windows 7. Makes much more sense and you can also just keep vista if you want to and not even go to 7 if you don't like it and it still costs the same. Heck you might even be able to sell the coupon if you don't use it making it even cheaper if you don't want Windows 7

Why not micro-ATX? You aren't running an SLI setup.

I say you color scheme your build like I did mine.

The OP was looking for a legitimate reason as to why he should get a micro-ATX board, not some smart aleck response.

I have to disagree with the i7 build. In a gaming pc, the graphics card is way more important. Going with a core2quad and a GTX275 would do better in games then an i7 with a GTX260 IMO. I didn't look at too many benchmarks, but from personal experience, I would recommend going with a core2quad and GTX275, if the computer is mainly for gaming.
