Default ranked 9 series?

whats the ranks for te 9 series end? ive only owned low ends whats is a 9600? is the 9500 gt the low end and mine the mid? that is amazing if it is.

yeah pretty much and then theres a 9800GTX, GT, GTS etc.

9800GX2
9800GTX+
9800GTX
9800GT
9600GT
9600GSO
9500GT

*The 9800GTX+ is just a revised version of the 9800GTX which is slightly faster

Price difference is not even there. It's 30 bucks more to grab a 9600GT. Unless the 9500GT is much faster than what the comparison from an 8500GT to an 8600GT was, then I would do some research.

Looks like it. Anyways it's more peformant than that 9500GT, and also less expensive.

It is the 8800GS, it was renamed to correct the joke that is Nvidia's naming system.

I wasn't having a jab at Nvidia. It's good that they're making it easier for the average consumer. Who would have thought that the 8800GT 512MB would be faster than the 8800GTS 640MB? But now we have an easy to understand 9 series lineup.
