Whats the range on the average notebook wireless card? Or are do they depend on the range of the router? My dad is thinking about getting one but we live like 10 miles apart. Is it possible?
The Range depends on the router, not the card. Don't bother with 10 miles, or even one. Routers can only broadcast a couple hundred feet in perfect conditions.
