There is a big difference between claiming and doing. Bill Clinton said a lot of things, but he didn't really do them. It is like hot air. Someone can be full of hot air, but produce no results. Rambus got sued for bad advertisement.

My GeIL ram is just fine for me. Golden Dragon has some good timings I believe they are called...

so geil is better than say crosair or viking? waht about ddr2 and ddr3? how do those compare?

DDR3 is only on GPUs, not available for Stick style ram... DDR2 is ok.. Its latency is way to high still... Geil is VERY GOOD. Its UltraX is almost as good as Ballistix.. So close!! Geil pwns Corsair.. And Viking,, ppphhh!

Based on my own experiences...

GeIL is awesome (I think it UltraX pwns Ballistix IMHO)
Crucial is pretty awesome
Samsung is pretty good
Corsair is good
Viking is decent

can geil and/or ballistix jsut go in the same place you would put your normal memory? or is it something speicial on special motherboards? and is it for amd or intel or both?
