Default RAM running like it should?

Hey,

I have been fiddling around with some RAM timing etc because I don't think my RAM is running as quick as it should...I was wondering what scores i should be expecting from the Memory benches in EVEREST (if you don't/can't use everest name something else and i'm sure I can try it)...I have 2X512 sticks of DDR-533 RAM and here is what CPU-Z says about the timings...

These are the scores i get in EVEREST....
Memory Read: 5147MB/s
Memory Write: 6596 MB/s
Memory Latency: 58.9 ns

Any help to see if the RAM is running like it should is much appreciated

Matt

those timing are fine because i dont think they make ddr ram with a CAS of 2 dont tweak the timings unless you are POSTITIVE you have ram with a CAS Latency of 2

Thanks for the reply, my motherboard isn't all that good for tweaking/overclocking so my CAS can only go to 3 and no lower

Considering you are running DDR2, those timings look good to me.

What brand and model of memory do you have?

Yeah, like Anubis said, his RAM is supposedly lower speeded and speced than mine, yet his gets a fair amount more than me...The RAM is Kingston Value DDR-533 (I know not the best but need some money before upgrading it)
