RAM Questions

I have 2 computers...both dells..one is a Dimension 2400 and the other is a Dimension E510...how want to transport a 512MB chip from the 2400 to my E510..can I don this or are the chips none compatible with each computer. the chip came from Dell..any help would be appreciated.

dude, u can't do that! first u have 2 figure out what ram the 2400 has...i'll figure out...
Ok the 2400 has PC2100 DDR, and the 510 has, i don't know. YOu can try it, if you haven't all ready.
