Default Ram Question?

Hey, ok this is my first build so I dont really know whats up with ram. My motherboard is a ASUS M2N4-SLI Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard and its DDR2 ram. It says though that its DDR2 800 standard. Does that mean I can only use DDR2 800 or can I also use lets say DDR2 667 ram? Thanks for any help

usually with a single mobo u can only use one type of ram, 800, 677, those would be on 2 different mobo, so if it says 800 standard, i think u need an 800, there better quality anyway, might as well.

You can use DDR2 and anything below (if it is above DDR2 800 it will just run at DDR2 800). So really, if you want you can use DDR2 667, just don't combine the DDR2 800 and the DDR 667. Hope this helps!

You can use DDR-400, 533, 667, 800, 1066, 1333, etc. They will all work.

It's just too weird that ownage is wrong, but he probably just didn't read the question carefully
