Ok so i have DDR400 RAM and when i turn my computer on it says my RAM is running at 400MHZ but how come when i run CPUZ it say it is running at 200MHZ? is there a multiplyer for RAM like there is for the CPU?

It says 240 because my computer is over clocked. So dose this mean my RAM is running at 480MHZ?

Maybe it only posted the info for one of the channels. Do u have a 2x512mb RAM or a 1x1024mb RAM. Because 240+240=480.

*sigh look at the name ddr what does it stand for? dual data rate so that means its running at 200mhz but acts as 400 since it does 2 things per clock
