RAm Question

I had 2 256 MB PC3200 Infineon rams in my computer put in by gateway I just bought 2x512 Corsair Twinx XMS Platinum 2-3-3-6 Rams, and i put them in. I first put it like Corsair Infineon Corsair Infenoe. and then i tried Corair 0 Corsair 0; What do you guys suggest for fastest configuration; shold i try: infinoen corsair infineon corsair?

Any suggestions?

I don't think it really matters what order you put them in...

but should i put all 4 in, or just the corsairs, because someone told me that the infineons would slow the other ones down

Just stick it in Corsair Corsair Infineon Infineon and use it

Here we have two types of a same RAM PC3200 but with different cas latency. From what you wrote you have 1 Gig of Corsair PC3200, That is plenty, adding the infineon will give you more RAM that you will probably never use, and yes it would slow down your Corsair since the rule with RAM is always: as fast as the slowest stick.
Sell the Infineon.
