Default Ram overclock help!

my ram right now is set to 4-4-4-12 800mhz and is 5:6 with cpu .

my question is . for better performance should i go down to 667mhz to be 1:1 with cpu or higher mhz like go up to 850

my q6600 is at 3 ghz with 333x9

400 x8 at 1:1 would be the next try if I was you, a lot depends on how hot you can go with summer temperatures (where ever you are).

To be perfectly honest I doubt you'd notice the difference in the memory but you'd notice the extra .2GHz for sure.

Higher MHz is faster.

@truefolder im in australia . obviously ,avatar.
my cpu is on 24c now thats at 3ghz

thats a good looking OC . 3.2ghz 50%overclock!. ram 800mhz 1:1 .
i must have got the bsod last time because i didnt understand the ram .

im going to run a benchmark ill post resaults later.

Where in Aus is more what I meant mate, temps in Darwin are quite different than Hobart if you get my drift Central Qld, where i am, can get awfully toasty during summer as well.

nice 3DMark score, I'll never catch you if you go to 3.6GHz
