My computer is becoming kind of glitchy during gameplay and the whole computer is becoming slow. My question is does anyone know any good hardware testing tools?

its pretty usefull to give you an idea of your PCs game ability.

but i would say since your sig says 8400gs, i would upgrade to atleast an HD4850, or GTS250

that's a pretty big jump actually, if he's not running very high resolutions a 9600GT would probably be fine for most games and a lot cheaper as well, especially if he buys from a site like this, I got two EVGA 9600GTs fresh from RMA for $75 shipped from a seller on [H]ard|Forums, I sent one to a friend and my son is using the other and plays Company of Heroes, Assassin's Creed, both S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, etc...

but yeah, 4GBs of RAM should be enough for just about any program/game, just upgrade your video card...
