Default which ram to get?

ok im looking for some ram, im gonna be doing alot of gaming so i guess 2x1gb. i know it needs good timing, and corsaird, and g skill are good brands, but quite honestly i dont know the difference, anyone have any recomendations? thanks.

I've been using Corsair memory for a few years now and love the stuff. Fast, stable, customer support is quick and painless.

Here's a nice set: CORSAIR XMS Twinx2048-3200c2 2 x 1GB DDR400

A little expensive though... and some people are complaining about getting DOA, but I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Well, they are DDR2, but if you need DDR2 800, no problem.
