Default RAM error or what?

I upgraded my system ( 650i ultra, 9600gt 1gb, new case) and notice this happening: it says

Installed Physical memory 4.00GB
Total Physical memory 2.75GB?
availiable Physical memory 1.83GB?

Total Virtual memory 5.70GB
Availiable virtual memory 4.78GB

What is wrong? i am running windows vista and would liike to know why the readings sound like there inaccuarate. Vista says i have 4.00GB and i know i need and have more thank 1.83 GB of RAM

Overclocked stuff if that helps

P.S im gonna go to sleep so don't expect an immediate response

I well from your readings it seems like your using a little less than 1GB. Where are you getting them from?

Well I don't think it would be a motherboard error. The RAM is completely compatible right? If you didn't reformat you hard-drive and just plugged in new parts, that could be your problem.
