Default RAM compatibility

I was wondering, can i put PC2100 in a computer that can suport 3200?
or if it's limited to the 3200 and the 2700 that it says it can run.

yeah in 99% of mainboards you can, it will just run at the slower speed

i hope your not buying that pc-2100 ram, i hope its just sitting around because believe me that speed of ram sucks ass
