Default RAM clocks off?

I just added 2 512 sticks in my computer to make 2 gigs or ram. All sticks are the same. Before my RAM frequency was 200. Now.. CPU-Z shows it bouncing between 157 - 158. Wat is wrong.

Possible that you got a bad stick of ram > remove and use only one of the new sticks and see what you get then. Then switch it out with the other stick and see what differences there are.
