RAM clock speed mismatch

I recently had a lot problms with my system shutting down abrubtly... when i consulted i was said that there was clock speed mismatch between my two rams one was a DDR256 (266Mhz) and the other was DDR512 (333Mhz) but these two RAMS didnt give me any problms for a month.. if there was anyproblm it shuld have been reflected in the first place itself...

Wait, so you're saying that you have one stick of PC2100 RAM which has 256 MB of space, and one stick of PC2700 RAM which has 512 MB of space? Yeah, those aren't exactly compatible. I'd throw out the 256 MB stick and get another of that 512 MB stick to stick in there (make sure it's identical).
