just wondering is buffalo ram any good, my brother is thinking of buying 1gb of it for $107.00+hst he only plays css and has been running off 512mb pc-2700 ram for about a year now so i think its worth it. its not like he overclocks or anything

i don't know about buffalo ram, but i was just checking out newegg.com and they have 1 GB of corsair (2 x 512 MB) pc3200 of their value select ram at 2.5 cas latentcy for $76. That seems pretty good to me.

never heard of buffalo.
But aslong as the timings are ok and there is a good warranty it's going to be fine. Though I'd still go for something like Corsair, OCZ etc.
