Looking at buying ram for my new build and the mobo and processor im looking at both have a fsb of 1333mhz and the mobo accepts ddr2 sdram. However searching the net has shown that the highest speed ram i can buy is 800mhz (DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz ECC) am I right or can I buy ram speed to match the mobo and processor?

Intel Desktop Board DG43GT Classic Series motherboard - micro ATX - iG43 - LGA775 Socket - is the mobo im thinkig of and
Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E8400 (6M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB) is the processor so far i have searched.

Also are there drawbacks of a micro atx board?

I'm not sure about the LGA775 Socket mobo's.

I would have thought you could go with 1333Mhz RAM, the same speed as the FSB.

And there's nothing wrong with micro ATX motherboard either. They are very capable but will have few expansion ports.
