Which RAM?

Which of these RAM would be best for a new conroe build? Will most likely be using a P965.

Also the P965 has recommended timings in specs of 5-5-5 or 6-6-6, does that mean that I can manually retime any of these ram to make them work if they don't work at lower timings?

I dunno about the specs, but mushkin makes good RAM. I my self have Mushkin and its Great.!

well looking at the timing the Super talent one seems to be the best. But I've heard about the brand only a few times, so can't say much about it. But both corsair and mushkin are excellent brands. And if u are going to buy now, you are going to get nice rebates with both corsair and musḧkin. So it's a really hard decision. All of those seem to be very very good. But personally, I'd go with the corsair.

i'd go with corsair, i'm a bit biased though since i use corsair. but it's up to you, corsair or mushkin.

I personally love Corsair. So i would go w. them never had any problems in the past.

what does the timing's mean? I see 4-4-4-12-2 and 4-4-3-8...whats the difference? I too am looking for 2gigs of DDr2 ram right now...

the lower the timings, the better. with that in mind....
the 4-4-3-8 is better than the 4-4-4-12...-2?

I'd say go with corsair or mushkin
