Ram

i was wondering if anybody was really good with ram because im trying to decide between two different models.

Corsair XMS 1Gb (2x512) 184 pin dual channel

so if anybody has any advice as to which is a more reputable brand or which is more reliable etc.

also is it possible to put 2.6 volt ram in a mobo that says its compatible w/ 2.5 volt ram?

and im still confused on what the whole "dual channel" thing is. so if ne body can explain that, that would be awesome.
