Ram

yes, but you'll have to underclock it to match the 2700 ram...
(it'll already be set to this)
it's a bit of a waste buying faster ram if you don't use it to potential though.

i never knew that. So if you have 2 sticks, they will run at the sped of the slower stick? Thats essentailly what you aresaying right?

32mb,64mb,128mb,256mb,512mb,1024mb, and do not put to diffrent RAM models together it will just do a memory DUMP, and what root said is rite therefore if you dont do that it will do a memor DUMP.

No we're mixing up two things hear, memory capacity and memory speed.
Capacity is in Meg and speed is in Mhz.
You can mix up different "Meg" memory sticks but not advisable if your mobo has dual channel capability.
As for the frequency or Mhz; PC2100 for instance has a frequency of 266Mhz. Now is you put in a memory stick PC3200 in ( 400 Mhz ), your mobo bus speed will only be as fast as your slowest memory stick, in other words in this example 266 Mhz. So putting a 400 Mhz stick will not improve your system speed. The 266 Mhz is creating a bottleneck. So put same frequency RAM in your mobo, and preferably of the same frequency as the mobo bus. No mentions about the cas latency of the RAM.

266Mhz Ram actually rnus at 133 but is duel channel
(DDR) so the speed is quoted at 266 because thats hoe it seems.
