RAID configuration

Hey, I just wanted to see what I would need to do in order to configure a RAID 0 machine. Obviously, 2 HDDs. Do I need to install a RAID driver onto my usb and then boot from that before installing the OS?

It depends on your motherboard. Mine has a controller built in. All I had to do was set it up in BIOS. What is your motherboard?

My motherboard will be either a Asus P6T or a deluxe

if the board has the controller built into it then you'll need to press a key when booting to get to the configuration menu.

if your board has no controller then you can still use raid configured in windows, but you can't use the system drive as part of the raid array.

(i.e you'll need a system drive, then the two drives for your raid 0 data drive)
