Raid 0

I have the Clevo P170EM Laptop and I wanted to buy a second SSD to put in RAID 0 with my inter SSD, but does that mean I would have to take out my Disk drive? Because I can't see a secondary HDD/SSD slot?

Also just a quick question, am I right in thinking there's no special type of SSD for laptop they use the same SSD for laptops and desktops?

If there is no other space for a second harddrive you are properly out of luck.

For laptops you need to make sure the SSD is not too tall to be inside the laptop. Some SSD's are a little taller and that results in it being incompatible with some laptops.

Not very many laptops support RAID and like BikerEcho said, if there is no second slot, you're out of luck.

Usually, optical drives in laptops use a different connector so shoving an SSD in there may not be possible.
