Default Radeon 5770 eligible?

I have a pre-built dell xps with a 9800gt and an nforce 790i Ultra SLI SPP motherboard chipset. Will the 5770 work?

Is there a way to find this out without checking inside the tower?

Nope, you gotta open the case. Normally I would say that if it will run the 9800, it will run a 5770, but your computer is a Dell.

We need the +12v amperage, not the "wattage" it will list.

^ That. Wattage would be good as well, though.
