Default Radeon 2XXX Series Info

From Gamespot:
http://www.gamespot.com/features/6170621/index.html

Looks like some decent prices actually...can't wait to see benchmarks of the 8800GTX vs the final version of the 2900XT. Looks like as of now the 8800GTX is winning.

They recommend at least a 550 watt PSU for a single card, not too bad...

Well, they're both the top end cards of nVidia and ATI, so I think it'll be interesting to see the difference in performance.

What I've heard so far regarding ATI cards is that the drivers still aren't very compatible so I don't know when reliable benchmarks will be released. So far the Radeon HD gets odd scenarios like more FPS on higher resolutions, everything is a bit odd with that card right now. I'm pleased with the pricing of it though. I'm hoping nvidia will consider revising their own prices now.

wow... does that thing need both the 6-pin and the 8-pin power??? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161091

one edge it does have though is the 24x AA
