Default Quiet Heatsink

Hey friend has a 1050t AMD newly built system. Works pretty good but problem is that heatsink sounds like a mini engine.

He needs a quiet heatsink. No overclocking. Doesn't want to spend much. 20-30 dollars. Cheaper is better. Just needs to stay relatively cool needs to get the job done.

Can anybody find any literature on the sound level of amd heatsink?

I have one of these and it's very quiet: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2

This site has coolers listed by noise: Frostytech's Top 5 Heatsinks Charts

The CPU heat sink fan is probably running at 100%. If this is the case then it will be very loud. Get your friend to go into the BIOS and set the fan control to auto.

Doing this will quieten things down a lot and you might not actually need a new CPU HSF as he's not overclocking.
