Hey I'm new here my name is Rick... or stony if you wanna call me by my screen name.. but anyways I'm new here and i am sort of new too computers, but i know enough to get by.

so.. on to my problem I have quicktime, and Itunes (free version) but when ever I try to watch or listen to things on webpages or view flash animations or something I get a fadded quicktime symbol with a question mark.. I don't understand why it's not working... it's kind of like one day it just stopped. I have the new version (i think it's 7.0.0.3 or something) but it won't work is it just a problem with my system or do i need more plug-ins?

here my system:

Windows xp Home edition with Service Pack 2
Biostar P4VTG 7.8 motherbaord
256MBs or RAM
27GB hard drive (about 10 of wich are left.)
Saphiretech Radeon 92500 128MB videocard
Direct X 9.0

as you can see it's kind of out dated...... but is there anything i can do to fix this?

Thanks,

-Rick

maybe you are going to have to uninstall itunes and quicktime, and try installing them again and see if that fixes the problem.

I would but wouldn't that delete my itunes Library? i did a new install but i didn't un install it first, just overwrited the old file.
