Quick RAM question...

I have 512mb DDR. Someone asked me about another speed spec. They asked me if it is 400mhz. Or something like that. Does anybody know what they mean?
And can you tell me how to find out please?

they were asking about your RAM speed, download a program called cpu z and it will tell u on there, whatever it says for memory frequency its actually double that since its ddr (dual data rate)

I think 400MHz is PC3200 if im not mistaken. They probably wanted to know that.

Also, if 512mb isnt speed then its that its physical memory location capacity or something?

pc3200 is just another way of saying ddr400, 512mb (megabytes) is how much memory there is, did u download cpu z to find out the speed? it might not be ddr400...theres loads of other speeds

well 160mhz is 320mhz and no ram that speed exsists, the nearest to it is ddr333mhz so i guess your laptop is a little slower than it should be
