do i need to download drivers for my mobo? is it necessary?

i would say you would need to as performance would be a lot better with drivers updated than not. if you dont install the graphics driver for a pc that you use for gaming, the game wont run that well or not even start.

Not enough information. Also, the motherboard listed in your signature isn't the right model. I have one very similar to those letters, but until you double check, I can't be sure that they're the same ones.

Even with that kind of snafu, it's not too hard to tell that your system is probably running an AMD chipset, which by default usually don't require drivers as the OS's generic drivers are usually enough. Some features like the onboard NIC will require additional drivers though (not provided by AMD)
