Default Quick Laptop Keyboard Question

Hello, my laptop has a keyboard that has some buttons that do multiple things, for example, all along my Function keys it shows sub commands under the F button, for example, Mute, Info, and Insert Home PgUp End and PgDn have sub commands.

How do I activate it? I read the manuals that come with it and it didn't say the keyboard layout.

I'm using a LG R500.
Ty in advance.

there should be a button that says [fn] on your keyboard. Look for a blue button if that fails.

I'm pressing the FN key and it dosn't seem to do anything.

EDIT: FN key DOES work for F keys but not the End Home PgUp PgDn and Insert keys, and I need those to work more then the F keys.

Is numlock on? I know it's a laptop but some laptops have a numlock. If numlock is already on then try turning it off and see if that helps.
