quick hd question

i just got a new computer and installed everything and it's good,
can i take my old hd from my old comp and put it in my new one, even though both have windows xp on it, and then manually transfer files over?

also, I lost my cd key to call of duty 2, but it's installed on my old computer, can i look it up anyway? and if i drag the whole game into my other hd (all the directories...) will it work if i remove it from the original hd?

well, you can hookup the hdd even though it has xp, just set it to slave

and yeah, you can transfer files

and i'm not sure about the game, i've never done it but i don't see why not

Do you know the way the new one and old one connect? I.e Serial ATA, or IDE, etc?

you should be able to set it via the bios settings
