Quick Hard Drive Question

At the moment, I have 3 IDE hard drives.

I am thinking about getting a new hard drive to replace one of the smaller 80GB ones I have now.

However, is it possible to have 3 IDE drives and also install a SATA drive.

This is my motherboard (the DAP on the left) http://www.jetway.com.tw/jetway/productsearch.asp

Is it compatible with SATA hard drives?

I won't be running the OS on the new SATA drive so would it just be a case of plugging it in and away we go..

Thanks for help

From the Jetway site:
VIA KT600+8237 Chipset Support Socket-A for AMD Athlon /Duron at 266/333/400MHz.
8x AGP VGA Mode
Support DDR400 RAM
Support ATA133
Support USB2.0
Support Serial ATA
6 Channel Speaker
Onboarod LAN (V600DAP only)
It seems you will be OK but you will need to install SATA drivers from you m/board disk (if you haven't already)
Please note this is SATA (150Mb/s) not SATA2 (300Mb/s) something to bear in mind when buying your new hdd

I think you need to reconsider this, if you put your os on the fastest drive (SATA) in your system it would be better, using a SATA drive as purely storage is kind of a waste
