Default Question - Setting up a wireless adapter

My neighbor offered me access to his wireless router. Our houses are less than 20 apart so I receive a decent enough signal with my laptop through out my house.
Now I would like to get my desktop setup as well so I installed a D-Link wireless PCI adapter into my Compaq desktop (XP sp2). I followed the instructions that it came with. The adapter shows up in my device manager so I believe the drivers were properly installed.
My question is.. Now what??
How do I go about setting up my desktop to recognize his network that same way I do on the laptop? My laptop has an integrated wireless air card so accessing available networks has been a snap.
Note: I have his network password so I am not asking anyone on how I can hack into his router.

I hope this question makes sence.
Any help would be appreciated as my knowledge base of wireless networks is limited.

Thank you..

You should be to use the wireless network wizard in control panel. Just follow the instructions.
