hey guys
So after i save up $1000 more, which hopefully shouldn't be a problem, I'm going to order a new pc with an amd athlon x2 3800, radeon x850xt, and 2 gigs of ram.
i know the video card isnt the best and doesn't support shader model 3.0, but how would this computer (except the video card) last me? how long do you think it would last through newer games and vista? especially the processor. I'll upgrade the video card when dx10 and vista comes out, so thats why i didn't choose the best one for now, I just wanted something to tie me over until dx10 releases.
..so how long do you think it should last? and how good would it be for newer games to release?
