I have my hard drive divided into two partions. I have XP on one and Vista on another. The thing is that I did this on a 80gb hard drive, but now I need more space. I am going to purchase a 160gb hard drive to add to my system. I don't want too reinstall windows on to the new hard drive. I am wondering what to do when I want to install new programs on vista and XP should I create a Programs Files on the second hard drive?
Another question I have is what if I divided my new hard drive into two partions just like the 80gb hd. Could I just move all the system files to the new partions to create a dual boot on my 160gb hard drive?

Just doing a plain transfer of files from one hard drive to another will probably not work because of the Windows keys. But you can install programs onto the 160GB hdd if you need to conserve space on the 80GB drive. When you install the programs you'll just need to select the path to install them to manually.
