Default Question on building a MAC

Hey, I got this from the link at Arrizx's sticky and have a question.
That is the hardware compatibility for MAC OX 10.4.5

My uncle really needs a new computer and only uses apple operating system. I offered to build him one. My question is, if I use the hardware from that list that is compatible with the operating system, I can just build it and install OS X without windows right? And it would work?

Untill recently the MAC OSX only supported the MAC processors, however its intel compatible now.
