Default Question about upgrading RAM.

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade the RAM on my computer to the maximum available which is 8GB in 2 slots. I have currently 4GB (I'm assuming this is 4 GB in 1 slot).

Would I have to buy a 2nd 4GB DDR3 or would I have to buy 2 identical 4GB DDR3s?

Default Re: Question about upgrading RAM.

You can buy another 4GB module. Make sure it is the same speed and timings.
