Default Question about a smell

Hello,
I have just sucessfully completed building my first PC. Everything went very smoothly. But my question is, my computer kind of smells like melting plastic. I have checked all of my fans and they seem to be fine. I have always noticed when working with computers it seems like all NEW parts have that smell slightly. So I believe it is just the smell being put off by all the new parts in the PC. Should I investigate it further if my fans all seem to be running fine?
Thanks,
Greg

Well, just make SURE it's nothing overheating. Check every fan, processor fan, any plastic anywhere, everything. Then and only then would I let it go, and hey maybe it is just the 'new car smell' of computers and it will go away over time
